One Singular Sensation: A Tribute to Marvin Hamlisch

Join Tony Award Winner Donna McKechnie, Tony Award Nominee Jodi Benson, and Phantom of the Opera's Doug LaBrecque as they pay tribute to the wonderful talents of one of the greatest contributors to music over the last century, Marvin Hamlisch. As composer, Hamlisch won virtually every major award: three Oscars, four Grammys, four Emmys, a Tony and three Golden Globes. On Broadway, he wrote the music for the long-running show, A Chorus Line, They’re Playing Our Song, Sweet Smell of Success, Smile, The Goodbye Girl, and Imaginary Friends. His more than forty motion picture scores include his Oscar winning score and song for The Way We Were and his adaptation of Scott Joplin’s music for The Sting. This memorable concert will feature music from his vast array of timeless music.

"Marvin's genius shines through in the rich legacy of music he left us, and this wonderful concert reminds all of us how extraordinary that legacy is.  Bravo Broadway's tribute, featuring the fabulous Donna McKechnie, is "one singular sensation!"
