Haley Scarnato began a performing career in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas at the young age of 15 as the lead singer for a highly successful regional band, “The Oh So Good!” Even though Haley was raised on country music, she studied all styles of great singers including Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks, Martina McBride, and one of her idols, Celine Dion.
In 2007, the long-legged Texas singer was catapulted from a regional favorite to the international stage when she earned a spot in the Top 10 of American Idol Season 6. Fan letters and e-mails poured in from around the world praising Haley for her dynamic stage presence and her expressive and powerful voice. TV appearances include Live with Regis and Kelly, Access Hollywood, Mike and Juliet, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Extra and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Haley is currently recording a new album. Tracks on the new release include songs with Danielle Brisbois ("Unwritten"/"Pocket Full of Sunshine"), Natasha Bedingfield and Dan Hill ("Sometimes When We Touch”) and will also include a “Texas style” single Haley wrote entitled “Girls Night Out.”
In the 2013-14 season Haley will appear in Symphony Idol with The Maryland Symphony, The Phoenix Symphony, The Winnipeg Symphony, and The Spokane Symphony, among many others.
Haley devotes a lot of her time to philanthropic endeavors including her recent appearance as the Celebrity Ambassador for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Texas.
